Vote “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” for Coveted Audience Award

At film festivals, the award that filmmaker most covet is the Audience Award. After all, these nonconventional filmmakers are telling stories not for personal fame or fortune, but to enlighten and entertain you — the audience.

After each Independent Lens television broadcast, the audience decides how a film measures up. At the end of each season, votes are tallied and one special film receives the prestigious honor.

The documentary film, “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” is up for PBS’s 2014 Independent Lens Audience Award. If you haven’t seen the film, it is available on PBS IL reruns, Netflix, iTunes and other outlets.

A bonus scene features Arnel Pineda preparing for the SuperBowl XLIII pre-game show. The film takes us to the same level of excitement Arnel experiences before he faces millions of people in the most watched sports broadcast:

The polls are now CLOSED. As of the end of the voting period, the film was leading in the polls. The official winner will be declared on Monday.
